J05E is a 4-cylinder supercharged intercooled, high-pressure common rail electronically controlled direct injection diesel engine. It is a next-generation electronically controlled engine: the common rail ultra-high pressure injection engine is equipped with an EGR device that reduces the suction temperature and suppresses the oxygen concentration, and multi-stage injection is carried out through coordinated control to maximize fuel combustion efficiency, exert powerful medium and low-speed torque, save fuel costs, and greatly reduce PM (particulate matter) and NOx (nitride) emissions.

Hino's unique HMMS combustion system, four-valve cross-staggered arrangement, double vortex inlet inlet inflation efficiency and distribution are guaranteed in the full speed range.
Denso's new generation of high-pressure common rail fuel injection system, accurate multiple injection, automatic compensation of fuel injection amount of each cylinder, can achieve lower engine idling, with anti-vibration, anti-heat, intelligent and other functions.
